- The student shows an exceptional level of independence, style, responsibility and professionalism that are inspiring for others;
- The utilization of the project results and the dissemination of knowledge in the project are mainly thanks to the student;
- The student should have been inspirationally pro-active in achieving the research results, working alone and in a team.
- Minimum active involvement from the supervisors;
- Supervisors have learned a lot from the project and have advanced their research agendas;
- The student has independently steered and managed the project at a SOTA level;
- The student is capable of planning, managing and executing all activities needed for the project (delegating activities is allowed but the student still accepts the final responsibility);
- The student actively looks for criticism in order to improve, learn and evolve;
- The student has assisted other TU/e Master students (final project or internship level) or BEP students.

- The novelties in the project are mainly possible thanks to the student;

- The student takes full care of the organization of the project: time schedule, meetings planning, contacts with experts, approaching deadlines;
- The student invests a lot of care in the planning of the technical and scientific part of the project, via e.g. proposals of research activities, methods, tools, own original analysis, etc.
- The student has actively participated in taking key decisions in the project;
- The student independently connects own findings to other fields;
- The guidelines given to the student are well understood and executed in an independent way;
- The student has shown commitment, responsibility and professionalism in the daily business of the project;
- The active involvement of the supervisors is not excessive;
- The student is able to handle criticism in a positive way;
- The student is capable of basic planning, managing and executing all activities needed for the project (delegating activities is allowed but the student still accepts the final responsibility).
