The specialization category is student centered. We put our attention on the knowledge, skills and abilities of the students. The guidelines are based on the widely used cognitive domain of Bloom's taxonomy. We evaluate the Specialization of the students, with emphasis on their knowledge, skills, and abilities. A: Quality of literature review
Definition: Orientation on literature, identification of relevant sources, evaluation and interpretation of sources;

B: Level of specialized knowledge
Definition: Level of knowledge and technical skill set relevant for execution of research project;
Main gradient: Sufficient understanding → Apply and implement in a relevant way → Confront, justify work against the state-of-the-art → Produce novel trade-offs and solutions → Visionary interpretation of knowledge.

C: Disciplinary knowledge
Definition: Broader knowledge on research area, total skill set, insight in scope and context of research, discipline of EE;
Main gradient: Facts, terminology, theories and basic skills → Application and analysis skills → Able to motivate all decisions → Able to create new links and theories → Motivated broad and far-reaching vision.
